Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a frightened young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.
Gameplay
Tomb Raider uses an interconnected hub-and-spoke model that combines action-adventure, (including character progression, skills upgrades, side-quests and craft system), platforming, exploration, and survival mechanics. The game is presented in third person perspective, and the player takes control of the lead character, Lara Croft. Karl Stewart said that the game's campaign will last between 12 and 15 hours.Along with the main story, players will have the chance to do multiple side quests, explore the island, revisit places, and search for challenge tombs.
